The TrafficGuard® removable security bollard, patented Helix Lock series (U.S. Patent 8,297,873) in 304 stainless steel provides the sleek elegance of the TrafficGuard®’s original carbon steel / powder coated Helix Lock series with the resilience and aesthetics of polished stainless steel.  Ideal when a concealed locking system is desired and weather conditions are harsh.  The HL2004S can be used in streetscape projects to minimize lock tampering and blend in with the streetscape, protecting pedestrians and business owners alike from an errant vehicle incident. 

Available with both lidded and ground sleeve filler piece options, this bollard system can accommodate both the eye of an architect and the ease of use to accommodate the end user.  When removed in a streetscape scenario, where heavy traffic will occur, the ground sleeve with the helix locking filler piece option is ideal.  It locks into place and cannot be tampered with, it provides a flush walking surface, plowing surface and vehicle surface.  Surface mounted storage racks are available for this removable bollard series and can be surface mounted near the site and locked into the racks for security.  With storage nearby bollards can be stored and deployed for events rapidly. 

If a higher level of security is desired, the Helix Lock series is manufactured by Bollard Warehouse, Inc. in ASTM F3016 crash tested options.  Bollard Warehouse, Inc. is the licensed manufacturer of TrafficGuard ®, Inc. ASTM F3016 crash tested bollard line.  The crash tested bollard options in the Helix Lock Series are available in carbon steel, galvanized steel and stainless steel.
